Is it a countdown to New Year? Is it a clock? This little machine measures the amount of noise produced (in decibel) on the construction site in Kawauchi campus. Above a certain threshold, the green light goes on and everyone puts on their ear-protection. The red light is for louder noise and comes with an annoying alarm. People get yelled at if they don't have their ear-protection on in time.
Wordt er hier afgeteld voor nieuwjaar? Is het een klok? Dit machientje meet de hoeveelheid lawaai die geproduceerd wordt (in decibel) op de bouwwerf nabij Kawauchi campus. Wanneer het groen licht aangaat, zet iedereen zijn 'koptelefoon' op. Het rode lichtje is voor luider geluid en er gaat ook een alarm af. Mensen krijgen ook naar hun voeten indien ze hun 'koptelefoon' niet op tijd opzetten.
