Tokyo By Night / Tokyo des nachts

I am currently in Tokyo for the JSPS Fellow's meeting and afterwards there is a conference on the Philosophy of Mathematics at Keio University.  The JSPS is the grant organization who funds my stay here in Japan.  Keio University is one of the most prestigious universities in Japan.  Incidentally, I am giving two talks there on Feb 25 and 26.  One during a conference on Ontology and one in the local logical seminar.  Tokyo is nice, but a little too much Big City for my taste.  It has more than 15 million inhabitants.  Here is the view from my hotel room.

Ik ben momenteel in Tokyo voor een JSPS Fellow congres en daarna is er een congres over de filosofie van de wiskunde in Keio University.   De JSPS is de grant organisation die mijn verblijf in Japan financiert.  Keio University is een van de meest prestigieuze universiteiten hier in Japan.  Toevallig geef ik er ook twee talks binnenkort: op Feb 25 en 26.  Een daarvan maakt deel uit van een congres over ontologie en een daarvan is in het lokale logica seminarie.  Tokyo is aangenaam, maar teveel GrootStad voor mij.  Er wonen bijvoorbeeld 15 millioen mensen.  Hier is het zicht vanuit mijn hotelkamer.
